Recently, the School of Business and Management at IBSUniversity carried out three community outreach sessions at two secondary schools and a college in Port Moresby. The purpose was to help educators develop useful skills in teaching and leadership, in line with our vision to enrich lives through education and build strong leaders throughout Papua New Guinea.

Dr. Durga, Head of School, Business and Management, said in a statement, “It is always a privilege for us to engage with local communities and support growth through hands-on learning sessions that people can apply in real situations.”

The session includes:

• Microsoft Excel Skills for Educators – led by Ms. Abinaya
• Leadership in School Settings – facilitated by Dr. Durga Prasad

School of Business and Management was privileged to successfully conduct these sessions at:

1. Sacred Heart Teachers College
2. Marianville Secondary School
3. Koiari Park Adventist Secondary School

“We are pleased to share that the sessions were very well received, with positive feedback from these three participating schools and educators,” Dr. Durga expressed in a statement.

IBSUniversity is sincerely grateful to the staff and leadership of the participating schools for their warm welcome, active involvement, and enthusiasm.

Encouraged by the outcomes of these initial sessions, SoBM is now planning to expand this initiative to reach more schools and communities soon. This effort is part of IBSUniversity’s broader vision to support educational development and capacity building across Papua New Guinea.
