The IBSUniversity Cultural Show 2026 marked an important milestone as the first Cultural Show proudly coordinated by the IBSUniversity Student Association in collaboration by the Student Affairs Department.

Held as part of the University’s Pre-Independence celebrations, the event brought together students representing different parts of Papua New Guinea in traditional music, singing, dance, dress and creative performances.

The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their unique cultures while taking ownership of a major university activity, which develops their practical skills in leadership, teamwork, communication and event coordination.

The Cultural Show demonstrated the impact of student leadership and collaboration. It gave students a platform to work together with the student affairs department, take responsibility and contribute meaningfully to the wider university community.

Congratulations to all IBSUniversity students and IBSU management for making the Cultural Show 2026 a successful milestone.
