IBSUniversity Applauds Joyce Jerry for being the 1st Runner-Up in the MBoP Pageant

At IBSUniversity, we’re always excited to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our staff and students. Today, we’re honoured to acknowledge Ms. Joyce Jerry, who has earned the prestigious title of 1st Runner-Up in the Miss Bird of Paradise Papua New Guinea Pageant. This incredible achievement shows Joyce’s dedication, hard work, and the talent and determination she has developed here at IBSUniversity.

Joyce Jerry, the Student Life Coordinator at IBSUniversity, has always been known for her passion for helping students and making their academic journey more enjoyable. She works hard to inspire and motivate students every day. As the Student Life Coordinator, Joyce has consistently shown perseverance and enthusiasm in everything she does. Her participation in the Miss Bird of Paradise pageant is a great example of her desire to grow personally and represent her community with pride.

In preparation for the pageant, Joyce and her amazing team worked hard to perfect her presentation, training, and public speaking. They helped her show off her unique qualities and talents to the judges and the audience. All their effort paid off when Joyce became the 1st Runner-Up, a huge achievement that shows her grace and inner strength.

The Miss Bird of Paradise Papua New Guinea Pageant is one of the most respected competitions in the country, celebrating beauty, intelligence, and cultural pride. Contestants from all over the nation take part in different rounds, including interviews, cultural performances, and social advocacy. This pageant gives young women a chance to speak out and bring about change in their communities.

Joyce’s success in such a tough competition shows just how strong her character is and how she aims to inspire others. Competing against nine other smart and talented women from Papua New Guinea, Joyce showed that she truly represents the values of leadership and intelligence.

Being named 1st Runner-Up in such a well-known competition is a huge achievement. Joyce’s performance throughout the pageant showed her strong character, confidence, and deep love for her culture, as well as her passion for ‘resilience through quality education for all’. Whether it was her graceful stage presence, her thoughtful answers in interviews, or her dedication to social causes, Joyce stood out at every stage.

Her journey to the top was filled with amazing moments that impressed both the judges and the audience. It’s a success story that reminds our students that winning isn’t just about being the best; it’s about growing, learning, and making a difference in the world.

IBSUniversity encourages all its students and staff to follow their dreams, and Joyce has been a real inspiration to students as the Student Life Coordinator. Her achievement as 1st Runner-Up in the Miss Bird of Paradise Papua New Guinea Pageant shows our students that with passion, hard work, and dedication, you can succeed in whatever you set your mind to.

“Watching her grow over the years fills me with pride,” said Dr. Emmanuel Aquino, Dean of Students, in a recent social media post. “Her effort, determination, and hard work have truly paid off. Seeing how far she has come makes this achievement even more meaningful. We are so proud of how she represented the University and the incredible person she has become!”

We congratulate Joyce Jerry on her fantastic achievement and encourage all our students and staff to be passionate about learning and following what they love. At IBSUniversity, we support our staff in becoming skilled employees and strong leaders, both in their work and personal lives.
