On June 20, 2025, we were privileged to welcome Ms. Zha Agabe Granfar, Executive Director of Verge PNG to give a guest lecture to our students in a session called Personal Branding through Strategic Communication.

The guest lecture was held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the university’s Open Arena, where a total of 73 students from both IBSUniversity and IBS College of TVET participated and acquired an in-depth knowledge of personal branding as a strategic tool for professional development and leadership presence.

With her extensive experience in executive leadership and organizational development, strategic communication specialist Ms. Zha spoke to the students about the fundamentals of building and sustaining a personal brand that supports their values, goals, and industry interests.

She also discussed the importance of authenticity, consistency, and clarity in establishing a personal narrative that resonates both online and offline.

With these practical strategies, our students get to know how to better their visibility and influence in their respective fields. The session was interactive with an open discussion, reflection, and peer feedback.

Ms. Zha’s passion for mentoring new and established leaders was evident throughout the session, making it an impactful experience for the students who attended.
