IBSUniversity was priveleged to commence its 2025 School Awareness Program with a successful visit to Zion Zeal Christian Academy on Monday 9^th of June, engaging with students from Grades 10 to 12.

This thoughtful initiative is part of the university’s ongoing effort to help secondary school students make clear and confident choices about their next stage in learning and life. The session included two main presentations, each offering useful knowledge and handy guidance purposely to help students prepare for what lies ahead.

Dr. Muthu Prabha Venkitchalam, a respected academic and the university’s Guidance Counsellor, led a lively session on SMART Goal Setting. Students explored how to set goals that are specific, measurable, realistic, relevant to their journey, and bound by time — encouraging a clearer, more deliberate way to move forward in school and in life.

Following that, Miss Mombruai Manimbi, Marketing Manager at IBSUniversity, shared a clear and thoughtful overview of the many programs offered at both IBSUniversity and IBS College of TVET. She spoke about study options in business, IT, accounting, and human resources — beginning at IBS College of TVET and continuing through to IBSUniversity and its partner, Southern Cross University in Australia. She also spoke to the students about how IBS shapes its learning around real-world needs and changing times.

This visit moves our mission forward — to narrow the space between secondary and tertiary learning through honest guidance and clear support. In the coming weeks, we look forward to meeting more schools as part of our 2025 awareness program.
