The School of Business and Management (SOBM), under its Business and Entrepreneur School Association (BESA), successfully hosted the BESA Oath-Taking Ceremony 2026, on Wednesday April 8th, with five new executives ushered in as student leaders for the BESA Association 2026.,
The event was organized and coordinated by the SOBM students with the aim of encouraging students to take responsibility, show professionalism in service, and the collective commitment to excellence within the business and entrepreneur school association.

The newly sworn-in executives are:
- Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Ms. Daniella Tia Kautu
- Chief Operational Officer (COO): Mr. Babaga Rebello
- Chief Public Officer (CPO): Ms. Francisca
- Chief Finance Officer (CFO): Ms. Jolie Faustina Dau
- Chief Events Officer: Position formally recognized during the ceremony

Each executive took an oath pledging to uphold integrity, accountability, leadership, and service—core values that define BESA’s mission.
The ceremony was further elevated by an inspiring keynote address from Ms. Phillie Julai, a respected national leader and youth advocate. Ms. Julai currently serves as the National Coordinator for Senisim PNG – Tribal Foundation and is also the Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Australia Youth Association Inc (PAYA).

In her address, Ms. Julai spoke passionately about ethical leadership, youth empowerment, and the importance to be purpose-driven. She encouraged the newly inducted executives to lead with courage, inclusivity, and vision, reminding them that leadership is not defined by title alone, but by impact.
The BESA Oath-Taking Ceremony 2026 is a student led initiative that nurtures future business leaders who are innovative, socially responsible, and globally minded. The event served as both an inauguration ceremony and a call to action—empowering students to take ownership of their roles and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
