IBSU’s Blended Learning Workshop: Empowering Educators and Students

From June 19-21, IBSU hosted a workshop titled “Academic Strengthening Project: Implementation of Blended Learning Pedagogy.” This event held daily from 9 am to 3 pm, brought together faculty and staff for an engaging experience aimed at improving academic practices through blended learning techniques.

What’s more, blended learning combines traditional in-person teaching with online educational resources and activities.

Dr. John Haw, Dr. Sharen Nisbet, Dr. Nikola Kalamir, and Mr. Michael Robbins led sessions to provide a comprehensive understanding of blended learning and its implementation.

It’s Latin for “by teaching, we learn”.

Needless to say, this workshop was all about that, which accentuates further the core philosophy of learning through teaching and embracing blended learning methodologies.

Conclusion

The workshop on “Academic Strengthening Project: Implementation of Blended Learning Pedagogy” at IBSU stressed the shifting potential of blended learning in a setting that’s conducive to interactive learning and development.
