In 1999, or so it was reported, a Japanese scientist, Dr. Masaru Emoto conducted a fascinating experiment that illustrates the impact of words on our lives.

Dr. Emoto took two batches of bottles of water and asked his students to direct negative energy at one batch by saying words like “I hate you,” “You’re evil,” and “You’re stupid.” Another batch of bottles received positive affirmations such as “I love you,” “I’m grateful,” and “Thank you.”

After freezing the water, Dr. Emoto observed the ice crystals under a microscope. The water exposed to negative words formed dense, ugly structures, while the positively charged water crystallized into beautiful, harmonious patterns.
