Ms. Everlyn Iniga Norman is currently employed as a Lecturer in the School of Economics and Development Studies at IBS University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Papua New Guinea.
In addition to her academic qualifications, Everlyn has obtained a Diploma in Leadership and Management offered by Federation Training – Australian, and a Diploma in Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) from the University of Goroka. She is also a certified MSME Digital Literacy Facilitator and a Financial Literacy Trainer. Prior to her current role, Everlyn served as a Senior Lecturer and a Head of Department at Goroka Technical College and Port Moresby Business College. She brings with her extensive teaching experience spanning more than 10 years. With her diverse educational background, professional certifications, and substantial teaching experience, Everlyn is well-equipped to contribute to the field of economics and development studies at IBS University.

Dr. Periyasamy Palani is currently working as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics and Development Studies, IBS University, Papua New Guinea, and is also involved in delivering lectures for Southern Cross University, Australia at the Port Moresby Centre. He has 12 years of total experience, includes 9 years of research and 7 years of teaching. His teaching and research interests in Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Macroeconomic Growth Models, Econometrics, Business Analytics, Migration and Public Policy, and Economics of Gender. He has actively contributed to national and international journals, seminars, and conferences, focusing on key themes such as the water pollution, economic valuation of non-marketed goods, macroeconomic uncertainty, public policy issues and WASH topics. He has also served as a Project Director, ICSSR (IMPRESS Scheme), New Delhi — “Estimating Economic Valuation of Environmental Degradation through Revealed Preference Method: A Case Study of Sago Industrial Pollution in Tamil Nadu” (Grant: ₹6,00,000) and Principal Investigator, University of Calicut Research Grant — “Economic Value of Solid Waste Management through Contingent Valuation Method: A Case Study of Amini Island, U.T. of Lakshadweep” (Grant: ₹1,98,000). He is a lifetime and professional member of several prestigious academic associations, including the: Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE), The Indian Econometric Society (TIES), Association of Economists of Tamil Nadu (AET), American Economic Association (AEA), Economic Society of Australia (ESA). He has also served in various academic and administrative roles in previous institutions, such as Project Lead – NM Centre for Public Policy, Chief and Additional Examiner, Research Associate, and District Coordinator. In addition, he serves as a reviewer in Grassroots Journal of Natural Resources (Scopus-indexed), Canada.
