[Port Moresby, 12th August 2024] – Prospective students eagerly lined up outside the Port Moresby National School of Excellence Hall, ready to explore their future educational opportunities. Upon entering, their attention was immediately drawn to the IBSUniversity, Southern Cross University (SCU), and IBS College of TVET stands, highlighted by a prominent banner and an eye-catching yellow tablecloth.

The representatives from IBSUniversity, SCU, and IBS College of TVET were stationed right at the entrance, welcoming students with warm smiles and providing them with valuable information about their institutions.

A total of 1,245 students visited the stall yesterday between 9:00 AM and 3:40 PM, attending in five scheduled sessions. The schools that participated were as follows:

• Session 1 – FODE NCD, Badihagwa Secondary, Port Moresby National School of Excellence
• Session 2 – Gerehu Secondary, Port Moresby National School of Excellence
• Session 3 – Gerehu Secondary, Butuka Academy, Asia Pacific Institute of Applied Social and Economic Technical Studies
• Session 4 – Waigani Christian College, Malolo International School, Gerehu Secondary
• Session 5 – Waigani Christian College, Don Bosco Technical School

The Career Expo will continue throughout the week, with different schools scheduled to attend in groups of 10, allowing each group just 10 minutes to gather information at each stall before moving on to the next.

Today, a total of 1,233 students from 11 different schools around Port Moresby are expected to visit the IBSUniversity stall. The Career Expo will conclude on Friday with a special bonding event from 1:20 PM to 3:40 PM.
