IBSUniversity and Vodafone PNG Sign Strategic Partnership to Enhance Graduate Employability and Industry Collaboration
[Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea –3rd July 2025 ]– IBSUniversity, one of Papua New Guinea’s premier private universities, and Digitec Communications Limited, trading as Vodafone PNG, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in education, training, and workforce development.
This partnership aims to provide practical career opportunities for IBSUniversity students by offering structured internships, graduate placements, and on-campus recruitment drives across Vodafone PNG’s operational divisions. The collaboration also focuses on aligning academic programs with real-world industry demands through guest lectures, curriculum feedback, and skill development initiatives.
Vodafone PNG will support student innovation and entrepreneurship by engaging in university-led competitions, workshops, and co-curricular activities that foster creativity and future-ready thinking. The partnership further commits to promoting professional engagement through sponsorships, co-branded events, and technical mentorship by Vodafone’s industry experts.
