The students under the StEP program were privileged to acquire practical tools on how they can convert creative ideas into well-structured business strategies.

There are five key takeaways that was discussed:

  1. Purpose of a Business Plan – Understanding the business plan as a strategic roadmap for effective decision-making, investor engagement, and operational clarity.
  2. Core Components – A breakdown of vital sections: executive summary, market analysis, product/service offering, marketing approach, operations, and financial projections.
  3. Market Research & Feasibility – Learning to evaluate demand, analyze competition, and define unique selling points to strengthen market positioning.
  4. Financial Planning –budgeting, sustainable revenue forecasting, and aligning financials with long-term goals.
  5. Pitch Preparation – Guidance on structuring business plans for pitching through effective storytelling, clarity of vision, and evidence-backed insights.

StEP is a great initiative in IBSUniversity that provides practical skills of Entrepreneurship to the students to grow into confident and capable young business leaders.
