Final Year Students Successfully Complete the Corporate Fresher Training Program 2024

[Monday, 14th October 2024] IBSUniversity is proud to announce the successful completion of a valuable four-day Corporate Fresher Training Program, created for final-year students as they prepare to shift from academia to the workplace.

From October 9 to 11, 2024, the engaging program provided students with essential employability skills through interactive indoor sessions and hands-on team-building activities. Participants explored valuable topics such as time management, business presentation, effective communication, and the elements of teamwork, highlighted by an exciting treasure hunt that promotes teamwork.

Facilitators from renowned organizations, including Total Energies, Pacifund, ZimCare Limited, Steamships, and Verge PNG, contributed their expertise, significantly improving the students’ learning experience during the three-day information session, which focused on personal branding, adaptability, time management, networking, and professional ethics. The final day featured a team-building event that allowed participants to apply the taught sessions in workplace scenarios.

Prof. Ramachandran addressed the students during the certification event at the end of the final day, encouraging them to welcome their new responsibilities and strive for diligence and competence.

Students reflected on their experiences during the training, with Janelyn James stating, “It was insightful and informative. I felt nervous about entering the workforce, but the sessions boosted my confidence about what to expect.”

Watson Ezira Glad noted, “The team-building event highlighted the significance of cooperation and communication, allowing us to grasp the interactions within our team more effectively.”

The Corporate Fresher Training Program has proven to be an essential foundation for our students as they begin their professional journeys, providing them with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their future careers.
