For more than 20 years, our learning partners and accreditations have guaranteed that our students receive thorough, hands-on training and qualifications that offer direct routes to employment and globally recognized skills.
IBS is an accredited provider of Microsoft training and CISCO courses, and an approved Pearson Vue test center.
In February of this year, IBSUniversity received ISO 9001 certification, making it the only academic institution in Papua New Guinea to be accredited with this prestigious award, which follows German standards. This accreditation sets a benchmark for IBSU to deliver education at ISO standards, particularly those of Germany’s educational framework of quality administration and operational systems and procedures.
Global University Partners
Since 1999, IBS has been offering Australian degree programs. Initially, the programs included Accounting and IT from Southern Cross University. Over time, the offerings have expanded to include both online and face-to-face Management courses.
In 2003, IBS became the first education provider to offer an MBA program in partnership with Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, with face-to-face classes in Papua New Guinea.
We are the sole examination center in PNG for Deakin University, University of New England, University of New South Wales, Monash University, University of Southern Queensland, Charles Sturt University, and the ACCA/CIMA exams in the UK.

Graduates from our academic collaboration with Southern Cross University are eligible to become members of CPA Australia and the Australian Computer Society under their respective programs.
Australian Computer Society
The Australian Computer Society (ACS) is the recognized association for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professionals. It attracts a large, active membership from all levels of the ICT industry. As a member of the Australian Council of Professions, the ACS serves as the public voice of the ICT profession and the guardian of professional ethics and standards in the ICT industry. The society is committed to ensuring the beneficial use of ICT for the wider community.
CPA Australia
CPA Australia is one of the world's largest accounting bodies with a membership of over 132,000 finance, accounting, and business professionals worldwide. Its core services include education, training, technical support, and advocacy. Staff and members collaborate with local and international bodies to represent the views and concerns of the profession to governments, regulators, industries, academia, and the general public.
