Author Guidelines
The IBSUniversity Journal of Business and Research encourages authors to submit high-quality, original, and impactful research contributions that advance knowledge and support academic and industry development.
Authors are encouraged to prepare manuscripts that are:
- Innovative
- Research-driven
- Academically rigorous
- Industry relevant
- Accessible to a broader readership
Submissions must be written in English using either:
- British English, or
- American English
Mixing both writing styles within the same manuscript is discouraged.
Research Articles
The journal currently accepts:
- Original research articles
- Industry research papers
- Applied research studies
- Interdisciplinary research papers

Manuscript Requirements
Authors are required to submit manuscripts that meet the following standards:

A standard research article should contain:

Ethical Requirements
All submitted research must:
- Be original and unpublished
- Not be under consideration elsewhere
- Include ethical clearance approval
- Include approval from all co-authors
- Maintain academic integrity
- Avoid plagiarism
- Comply with international research ethics standards
Authors must provide:
- Ethical clearance certificate/letter
- Language editing confirmation (if applicable)
Research Quality Criteria
Manuscripts are evaluated based on:

Submission Process
Step 1 – Manuscript Preparation
Authors should ensure:
- The manuscript follows journal formatting guidelines
- Author names are NOT included in the main paper
- References follow Harvard style
- All tables and figures are properly labeled
- Keywords and abstract are included
A separate document containing:
- Author name(s)
- Affiliation(s)
- Email address(es)
- Contact details
must be submitted separately.
Step 2 – Article Submission
Authors should submit:
- Main manuscript without author details
- Author information document
- Ethical clearance document
- Supplementary materials, if applicable

Step 3 – Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team will review the submission for:
- Formatting compliance
- Scope alignment
- Plagiarism screening
- Basic quality assessment
Non-compliant articles may be returned for correction before review.
Step 4 – Double-Blind Peer Review
All eligible manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
This means:
- Reviewer identities remain anonymous
- Author identities remain anonymous
The review process evaluates:
- Academic quality
- Originality
- Methodology
- Relevance
- Contribution to knowledge
Step 5 – Reviewer Feedback
Based on reviewer comments, the article may be:
- Accepted
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Returned for major revisions
- Rejected
Authors will receive reviewer comments and revision instructions where applicable.
Step 6 – Final Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after considering:
- Reviewer recommendations
- Research quality
- Journal standards
The Editor’s decision is final.

Tables, Figures & Images Guidelines
Authors should ensure:
- All tables and figures are referenced within the text
- Captions are clearly provided
- Images are minimum 300 dpi quality
- Figures are submitted in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format
- Tables are properly numbered sequentially

The journal uses the Harvard Referencing Style.
