Christmas fever stirs early in IBSUniversity, as the sound of jingles creeps closer, we jumped into the season like a ride on the reindeer’s sleigh with loads of joy and a gift of talent on Friday November 11th 2025.

This year’s celebration is about talent and a luncheon that brought laugher, great music, warm company and delicious food for everyone to enjoy. Staff members and their kids filled the IBSUniversity Mcpherson Open Arena with soulful songs, creative dances and fantastic karaoke performances. The atmosphere itself is greeted with cheerful conversations, applauses and smiles.

It felt like a rare and welcome break from computer screens, lecture rooms and tool sheds. This is a date with colleagues away from the normal working hours, where everyone gathered to share stories, enjoyed good food and jumped into fun games that kept the energy high.

In addition to the merry and gayful delights of the day, a little flavor was added on top for the long serving staff members, they were presented with service certificates, a simple but meaningful gesture that showed IBSU’s gratitude for their years of dedication. It was a reminder that the university’s mission, vision and values are upheld by people who care and contribute every day.

The luncheon and talent show lifted morale, strengthened relationships and created a positive environment where everyone could unwind. For the staff and faculty of IBSUniversity, it became a day to breathe, laugh and begin the festive season on a high note.
