Accessing the Corporate Library Collection

The CPL is designed for corporate clients who wish to leverage our extensive resources to support their organizational goals. Clients can visit the CPL Library at the IBS Eriama Campus, 11 Mile, where our dedicated staff is ready to assist them.

We understand that flexibility is crucial, which is why we have made sure that the CPL Library’s opening hours align with the main library timetable.

Any updates regarding these hours will be promptly communicated to clients through registered emails and contact numbers. This allows our clients to plan their visits effectively, maximizing their access to valuable resources.

CPL Library Membership

To enjoy the benefits of our Corporate Library offerings, members must adhere to specific guidelines:

1. Membership Forms – All Corporate Client Membership Forms must be thoroughly completed and signed before utilizing this service.

2. Borrowing Privileges – Members are entitled to borrow up to two books at a time for 14 days, after which the books must be returned to the Library.

3. Clear Details – Providing accurate information when filling out the membership form is essential, including signatures from the applicant, a senior personnel witness, and a COE staff/facilitator at the training site.

4. On-the-Spot Submission – For those on training sites, ensure that completed and signed forms are organized in a folder for submission to the Chief Librarian alongside the books. This streamlined process is part of our commitment to enhancing the library experience.

Lending Services and Benefits

Understanding the diverse needs of our corporate clients is crucial to providing effective library services. The CPL strives to create an accessible and supportive environment that encourages members to fully engage with our resources. Our flexible lending services are fashioned to streamline our clients’ access to vital information and, at the same time, promote responsible resource management.

The CPL offers flexible lending services to cater to our members’ needs:

• Members can borrow up to two books for 14 days, providing access to vital resources.

• All borrowed items must be returned in good condition by the designated due date, as indicated on the Due Date slip within the book’s cover.

• When returning a book, clients should process it through their HR for easy pickup and drop-off.

• Members can request one renewal or extension per book, ensuring they have ample time to utilize our resources.

• During the book pickup, our library team is ready to assist with additional borrowing, helping you find the right resources for your needs.

Team Building Training Initiative

Our Center of Excellence offers team-building training for IBS staff, students, and external corporate clients alike. The IBSU COE has provided these development programs for the past decade, with regular, notable clients including the Bank of South Pacific and the National Gaming Control Board, along with the National School of Excellence, which recently utilized the new STEM training offering.

Participating in these training sessions strengthens team spirit while promoting knowledge-sharing among members.
